Introduction
We live in a world filled with messages about beauty. Magazines, social media, and cultural standards tell us how we should look in order to be accepted. Yet true beauty is fragile when defined by the world—it fades and constantly changes. The Bible teaches that real beauty is found in a heart transformed by God.
1. Outward beauty is temporary
“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30)
Physical appearance fades, but a character rooted in God’s presence shines forever.
2. God looks at the heart, not appearances
While the world rewards appearances, God honors purity, faith, and inner strength.“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)
3. How to cultivate inner beauty
-
Fill your mind with God’s Word.
-
Surround yourself with people who uplift your faith.
-
Practice gratitude and service.
