Your Identity in Christ

 

There are moments when we forget who we are.
The voices of the world, the past, and the enemy keep whispering:
“You’re not enough.”
“No one really loves you.”
“You always mess up.”
And slowly, those lies become chains that steal our peace.

But God doesn’t call you by your mistakes.
He calls you by your name.
And when you decide to follow Christ, your identity is completely transformed.
You are no longer defined by your past, your pain, or your achievements.
You are defined by what God says about you.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17

🙌 Who are you in Christ?

• You are a daughter of the King
  You are not forgotten, abandoned, or invisible.
  You’ve been adopted by love.

“Yet to all who did receive Him… He gave the right to become children of God.” — John 1:12

• You are eternally loved
  There’s nothing you can do to make God love you more—or less.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” — Jeremiah 31:3

• You are forgiven and free
  You don’t carry shame or guilt anymore.
  You were bought with the blood of Jesus.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.” — Ephesians 1:7

• You are the temple of the Holy Spirit
  Your life is the dwelling place of the living God.
  You are not ordinary—you are set apart.

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16

• You are light in the darkness
  You weren’t made to hide—you were made to shine.

“You are the light of the world…” — Matthew 5:14

💎 Don’t let the enemy steal your identity

When you forget who you are, you forget the authority you carry.
That’s why the enemy tries to confuse you, distract you, and make you believe your worth depends on performance, approval, or your past.
But God calls you to remember:

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…” — Ephesians 2:10

You are God’s masterpiece.
Created with purpose.
Loved unconditionally.
Chosen intentionally.

Hope in the Middle of the Desert

 

There are seasons in life that feel like deserts.

Moments when everything seems dry, stagnant, and fruitless.
You pray, but no answers come.
You fight, but no breakthrough appears.
And you begin to wonder:
Where is God?

But the desert is not a sign of abandonment.
It’s the place where God works in silence.
It’s where He shapes character, purifies intentions,
and reveals who He truly is.

When the people of Israel wandered through the desert,
it wasn’t because God had forgotten them—
it was because He was preparing them.
He didn’t lead them straight to the Promised Land because first,
they needed to learn to trust,
to depend,
to obey.

“Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness… to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart.”
— Deuteronomy 8:2

The desert reveals what comfort hides.
And even when you can’t feel Him,
God is still there.
Day after day, He sustains you—just like He sustained Israel with manna from heaven,
guided them with a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night,
and protected every step, every night, every battle.

He doesn’t allow dry seasons to destroy you,
but to transform you.

“Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the wilderness and speak tenderly to her.”
— Hosea 2:14

God draws you into the desert not to punish you,
but to speak to your heart—
to remind you that He is your source, not the world.
That He is your strength, not your situation.

And when you feel like you can’t take one more step, remember this:
Jesus also went through the desert.
And it happened right after His baptism, not after failure.
He was full of the Spirit, not empty of faith.
The desert was not a sign of defeat,
but part of the path to victory.

You Are Not Forgotten: God Sees You

 

There are moments in life when silence feels louder than words.

Moments when your prayers seem unanswered, your efforts unnoticed, and your tears unseen.
You wonder if anyone truly sees you.
If anyone understands the weight you’re carrying.

But there is One who sees it all.
God sees you.

“You are the God who sees me.”
— Genesis 16:13

These were the words of Hagar, a woman cast aside, mistreated, and alone in the wilderness.
She wasn't royalty. She wasn't a prophet. She was a servant—
and yet, in her moment of deepest despair, God met her.
Not with judgment.
But with compassion.
With presence.
With love.

He called her by name.
He gave her hope.
He proved that no one is invisible to Him.

You, too, may feel hidden. Forgotten. Overlooked by the world.
But not by your Father.

“Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

That's how intimately He knows you.
That’s how deeply He cares.

When others see your smile, He sees your struggle.
When others hear your words, He hears your heart.
When others pass you by, He draws near.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

So when you're tempted to believe the lie that you’re alone—
remember this truth: You are fully known and fully loved.

Your tears are not wasted. Your prayers are not ignored.
Your pain is not overlooked.

God sees. God knows. God remembers.

“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”
— Isaiah 49:15

Sometimes we walk through life feeling insignificant—
as if our value depends on what others think of us,
on the mistakes we've made, or the things we've lost.

But the cross of Christ shouts a truth we cannot ignore:
We are deeply valuable to God!

We are not worthy because of what we have.
We are worthy because God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27).
And when sin tried to separate us from Him, He didn't leave us lost.
He loved us so much that He gave the most precious thing He had: His only Son.

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
— Romans 5:8

Can you imagine a love so great?
A love that didn’t wait for you to be perfect,
but came looking for you just as you are.
On that cross, Jesus didn’t just carry your sins…
He carried your fears, your shame, your pain, your rejection, your loneliness.
Every drop of His blood was an eternal declaration of love:

“You are Mine, and you are worth the blood of My Son.”

When the enemy tries to make you feel useless, guilty, or worthless,
look at the cross.
There you’ll find the answer to your identity:
You are loved, redeemed, and bought with a price.

“You were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies and with your spirit, which are God's.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:20

Christ didn’t die for you out of obligation.
He did it out of love.
And He would do it all over again if He had to.
You are not just another number, or a nameless lost sheep.
He knows you by name, calls you by name, and extends His grace to you every single day.

We live in a world that often tries to tell us that our worth is based on what we do, how we look, or what we achieve. As women, these pressures can make us forget a foundational truth: we were created with purpose. God did not make a mistake when He made you. You are not an accident or a product of chance. You are the result of a divine, loving, and eternal intention.

🌱 You were intentionally designed

From your mother’s womb, God already knew you. Every part of you was crafted with care. Your gifts, your personality, even your story — all are part of God's perfect plan.

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb... I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”— Psalm 139:13-14

There is nothing accidental about you. Every detail carries eternal purpose. God gave you specific talents for a mission that only you can fulfill.

Your purpose is not tied to your income, marital status, or age. Even if you feel small or invisible, God sees beyond that. He has called you to impact, to love, to heal, to teach, to guide, and to reflect His glory wherever you are.

Even when you feel broken, He is still working. Your story may be the very tool He uses to bring healing to others. God uses what is weak to display His power.

Discovering your purpose is a journey. It begins with a close relationship with God. The closer you walk with Him, the clearer His direction will become.

Pray sincerely and listen for His voice.

Read the Word to know His promises.

Surround yourself with women who build your faith.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a heart willing to be led.
